On February 25, 2010, the Chamber held its annual Sponsor-a-Student Luncheon, a sold out event at the Tuscany Event Centre on Edward Street. The excellent meal was provided by The Roving Chef. 

Students from Aurora High School, Dr. G. W. Williams Secondary School, ESC Renaissance French High School, St. Andrew's College, St. Maximillian Kolbe Catholic High School, and Queen's University attended with their sponsors and were given an introduction to our local business community.

Bob Abrames was an engaging speaker, at one point nearly setting off the sprinklers when demonstrating how to start a fire with flint and steel. He was available for questions and autographs afterward.
